ITINERARY DETAILS
DAY 1
Athens
Arrive to Greece, the land of mythical Gods and ancient civilization. Your private driver will pick you up from Athens International Airport and take you to your five-star hotel. Enjoy your afternoon and evening exploring the vibrant culture and nightlife of Modern Athens. Ask your Leisure Travel Consultant for recommendations of their favorite restaurants, cafes and entertainment.
DAY 2
Athens - Half Day Athens Walking Tour
In the morning, your licensed English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel lobby, to begin your tour of the new Acropolis Museum. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to explore the Acropolis and its timeless temples of the Parthenon, Erectheion and Athena Nike. Walk up to the Hill of Philopappus to see the impressive funeral monument from the Roman era as you appreciate the widespread views of Athens and Piraeus. Subsequently, walk down to the hill of the Pnyx, an area used in Classical Athens as the meeting place for the democratic assembly. You can later enter the historical Plaka area, close to the Thiseion temple, dating back to the 5th century BC. Meander past the ancient Agora and its remarkably restored Stoa of Attalus, Hadrian's Library, and the picturesque Tower of the Winds. The return route takes you over the Hill of Mars, also known as Areopagus, where Saint Paul preached his Sermon on an unknown God, as recorded in the Acts of the Apostles, in 54 A.D., which is directly below the Acropolis. Continue your tour to the Odeion of Herodes Atticus, still used today as a summer venue for open-air concerts and theatrical performances. The last stop of the tour will be at Syntagma Square, where you will witness the changing of the Guards, at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, right below the Parliament building.
DAY 3
Athens, Milos
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Athens airport to catch your flight to Milos. Upon arrival, a representative will be waiting to transfer you to your luxury hotel. Enjoy the remainder of your day taking in the diversity of spectacular landscapes and the beautiful white sandy beaches. Enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants while sipping wine from a local winery. Make sure to ask your travel consultant for recommendations of their favorite restaurants on the island.
DAY 4
Milos – Semi-Private Sailing Cruise round Milos
Explore the beautiful island on your own or enjoy a semi-private sailing cruise. The cruise begins from Adamas port, sailing across the blue Aegean Sea, past the traditional fishing villages of Skinopi, Klima, Areti, and Fourkovouni, providing ample photo opportunities of the brightly-painted houses, known as Sirmata, which are scattered along the coastline. You will visit Arkoudes, a formation of lava rocks shaped like a bear, and sail towards the impressive cape of Vani, before arriving at the natural bay of Kalogries, an ideal location for diving and snorkeling. After a break for refreshments, you will have the opportunity to visit Kleftiko and admire the dramatic rocky landscape which was formed by the volcanic lava eruptions. At midday the cruise will take you to a pirate hideaway, where you can swim or taste refreshing local fruits onboard. The fascinating cruise will then continue to the cave of Sikia, giving you the chance to relax on the beach, swim, or participate in underwater sports. If weather permits, a delicious grilled seafood barbeque will be served, followed by ice cream, as you sail back to the Adamas port around 8 P.M.
DAY 5
Milos

DAY 6
Milos, Ios
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the port of Milos to catch your ferry to Ios. Upon arrival, a representative will be waiting to transfer you to your luxury hotel. Spend the remainder of your day exploring the small cove of Tzamaria. Ask your leisure travel consultant for recommendations of their favorite activities and things to do while visiting Ios.
DAY 7
Ios
Enjoy a relaxing day exploring the main picturesque Cycladic town of Ios, which was built amphitheatrically, with a labyrinth of narrow stone-paved streets winding through the array of souvenir stores, restaurants and cafes.
DAY 8
Ios
Relax at one of the sandy beaches, with many watersport options such as scuba diving, windsurfing and jet skiing, or explore the deep history and culture the island has to offer, during your day of leisure. The most popular beach of Ios are Manganari, Kalamos and Theodoti. Make sure to visit the small church of Panaghia Gemiotissa, which is situated at the highest spot of the village, the ruins of a Venetian castle with breathtaking panoramic views, or the cheese factory and organic farm. DAY 9
Ios, Santorini
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the port of Ios to catch your ferry to Santorini. Upon arrival, a representative will be waiting to transfer you to your luxury hotel. Spend the remainder of your day overlooking the spectacular views of the caldera and the stunning colors of the sunset. Enjoy dinner at one of the numerous restaurants while sipping wine from one of the local wineries. Ask your travel consultant for recommendations of their favorite restaurants.
DAY 10
Santorini - Wine & Food Tour
Santorini is home to a small, but flourishing, wine industry. Discover these Aegean varietals by visiting the island's wineries, which produce renowned extraordinary distinct fine wines including dry white and delicious Vinsantos, on your private tour. Begin with a scenic excursion around Santorini, enjoying panoramic views of the countryside with picturesque white washed villages along your route. Your first stop will be at three long-established family wineries, capturing a glimpse of what goes into the production of wine, initially by the selection and variety of the grapes and concluding with bottling and packaging of the finished product. Enjoy the highlight of your food and wine tour as you watch the special and unique method of vine pruning by a wreath or basket shaped like a traditional Greek sesame seed, also known as a kouloura, a technique which originated on the island. Your last stop will be at a traditional restaurant where you may dip into your senses and try the island's fresh delicacies.
DAY 11
Santorini
Spend the day by relaxing at the famous red, black, or white sandy beaches, enjoy a wine tasting experience, take a cooking lesson, explore one of the picturesque villages, or go hiking along the caldera. DAY 12
Departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Santorini airport, to connect with your departure flight via Athens International Airport.
