DAY 1
Athens
Welcome to Athens, the cradle of Western civilization. Athens is a vibrant city that’s at once ancient and modern, classic, and constantly evolving. From its rich historical heritage along with the landmark Acropolis to hip and trendy bars to high-end boutiques and multicultural cuisine, Athens has it all. You will be picked up from Athens International Airport by your private driver and transferred to your luxury hotel. Enjoy your afternoon and evening exploring the historic neighborhood of Plaka or enjoying a stroll along Dionysiou Aeropagitou, a pedestrianized street that is the longest walkway in Athens and is akin to walking along a living open-air museum. DAY 2
Wine and History in the Shadow of the Acropolis
After meeting your licensed English-speaking guide you’ll begin your tour of the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. Head to the top of the Acropolis via the gates of Propylaea, the monumental entrance to the Acropolis and an iconic example of classical antiquity and admire one of the world’s most important architectural structures, the Parthenon along with the ancient temples of Parthenon, Erechteion and Athena Nike which are considered the most important monuments in Western civilization. Your experienced guide will help you discover more about the site’s significance, as well as the bountiful heritage and cultural achievements of the Greek civilization during the Golden Age. From there, you will continue your tour by heading to the world-renowned Acropolis Museum, where nearly 4,000 artifacts are on display providing a detailed insight into the everyday life of Ancient Greece. From the Acropolis Museum, you head to an authentic old-fashioned wine shop to get acquainted with their distinct wines along with local delicacies.
DAY 3
Athens to Naxos
Meet your driver in the lobby of your hotel to head to Athens Airport for your flight to Naxos. The largest and most lavish of the Cycladic Islands, Naxos offers one the chance to see another side of the Greek Islands. Meet your driver at Naxos Airport to be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of your day either soaking in the sun at your hotel’s pool or at one of the island’s numerous beaches. DAY 4
Munch around Naxos Town
Experience the flavors of Naxos on a tour that’s both enlightening and delicious. Start your journey in the Old Town, making your way up to the Venetian Castle where you’ll enjoy a tasty snack inspired by the island’s Venetian heritage at a café with breathtaking views.
Next, dive into Greek hospitality with a visit to a family-run tavern, where you’ll savor traditional Naxian dishes and immerse yourself in the island’s rich culinary culture. Refresh your palate with locally sourced ice cream before heading to one of Naxos’s oldest liqueur stores to enjoy a taste of the famous “Kitron” liqueur. Finish your day by exploring a traditional grocery store for herbs and olives and wrap up with a Greek wine tasting at a cozy wine bar in the heart of Naxos.
DAY 5
Day at Leisure
Spend a day discovering Naxos at your own pace and get to know the island on a personal level. Wander through the town to experience its welcoming atmosphere or relax on one of the island’s stunning beaches, letting time drift away as you listen to the waves. DAY 6
Apollo Island Tour
Your journey begins in western Naxos with a visit to the ancient Temple of Demeter, a historical gem standing proudly for over 2,500 years. Next, you'll explore the charming village of Halki and visit the Vallindas distillery, home of the renowned Kitron liqueur, where you'll enjoy a masterclass and tasting session. Continue to Apiranthos to wander its marble-paved streets, experience its deep traditions, and take in stunning views. Then, cross the mountains to Apollonas, a historic fishing village once a major Naxian port. Enjoy local delicacies by the bay and view the famous incomplete Kouros statue. Finally, head to Eggares to discover the island’s heritage at a 19th-century olive press and immerse yourself in traditional practices, capturing the timeless essence of Naxos.
DAY 7
Naxos to Tinos
Meet your driver in the lobby of your hotel to head to Naxos Port for your ferry to Tinos, the rising star of the Cyclades. Once referred to as the ‘handmade island’ by philosopher Cornelius Castoriadis, Tinos is steeped in tradition and offers its visitors an extraordinary blend of heart-warming authenticity and inspiring singularity. Your driver will meet you at Tinos Port and transfer you to your hotel, where you can spend the remainder of your day either soaking in the sun at your hotel’s pool or at one of the island’s amazing beaches. DAY 8
Food Walking Tour in Tinos Town
Get to the heart of Tinos through its enchanting, local dishes. Immerse yourself in authentic Tinian cuisine on a walking food tour along the picturesque alleyways of the old town and discover how local traditions are entwined in every single bite. As you savor the delectable offerings of the island, learn about its locally sourced products from seasoned shop owners and uncover the town’s fascinating past, finding out why Tinos became a worldwide center of Orthodoxy.
DAY 9
Village Hopping Tour
Prepare for an experience that will make want to stay in Tinos for good! Renowned for the 40 or so authentic, picturesque villages that populate its magnificent plains, no trip to Tinos is complete without visiting at least one of them — or in your case, three! Start your day by heading to Falatados, an old village that dates to the 1400s. Falatados is well-known for its abundance of winepresses and Raki distilleries, and even organizes various festivals in September to celebrate the Raki-making season. After that, spend a few minutes at Exomvourago and enjoy the spectacular views offered from the granite mountain, which was once home to Tinos’ Castle. On the final stop of your tour become acquainted with Volax, a unique village that is famous for the craft of basket-weaving and its fascinating lunar landscape — a result of an ancient volcanic eruption. On your way back, you will get to enjoy a great view of the villages of Skalados, Loutra, Xinara, and Tripotamos.
DAY 10
Tinos to Mykonos
Mykonos is an island that needs no introduction. Hip, cosmopolitan, and chic, Mykonos never ceases to entertain its guests and provide an ample atmosphere to explore its numerous sandy beaches or browse the main town’s stone-paved alleys and whitewashed facades on your way to the colourful houses of Little Venice and the iconic 16th century windmills. Once you’re transferred to your hotel you can enjoy the remainder of your day either soaking in the sun at your hotel’s pool or at one of the island’s numerous beaches. DAY 11
Be a Mykonian for a Day
Experience Greek culture firsthand by living like a Mykonian for a day. Visit an authentic village house and immerse yourself in the life of a self-sustained Mykonian family. Once you're acquainted with the surroundings, choose one of two engaging activities: join an open-air cooking class in the farmstead’s main yard or embark on a unique car tour of Mykonos's uninhabited northern side. Alternatively, learn to bake bread in a traditional stone oven before enjoying a peaceful horse-riding journey through serene island trails. Conclude your day with a delightful lunch back at the farm, featuring selected local delicacies, and toast like a true Mykonian with a variety of Greek drinks.
DAY 12
Jeep Safari Adventure
Prepare for an exhilarating journey through Mykonos' rugged terrain with today's exciting Jeep Safari. Traverse off-road paths to the secluded Fokos Beach, immerse yourself in the charm of Ano Mera Village, and enjoy a scenic drive to Kalafatis Beach. Capture the hidden panoramas of the island's coastline and villages as you embark on an adventure-packed exploration, experiencing the untamed beauty and rich heritage of Mykonos.
DAY 13
Mykonos to Athens
On the final day of your journey your driver will meet you in the lobby of your hotel for your transfer to Mykonos Airport, whereupon you will catch a plane to Athens for your departure flight home.
