ITINERARY DETAILS
DAY 1
Arrival in Tirana
Touch down in Tirana and transfer privately to your hotel in the capital. No touring is scheduled today, leaving the afternoon and evening open to settle in at your own pace. Take a first walk through central Tirana, stop for coffee near Skanderbeg Square, or head to Blloku for dinner. DAY 2
Tirana, Mount Dajti & Albanian Cooking
Begin with a private orientation of Tirana and its main landmarks, gaining an introduction to the capital's history and rapidly changing character.
Continue toward Mount Dajti and board the Dajti Ekspres cable car for views across Tirana and the surrounding mountains. Back in the city, turn your attention to Albanian food during a hands-on cooking class. Learn about traditional ingredients and preparation methods before enjoying the dishes you have prepared.
The day introduces three different sides of Tirana through city life, mountain scenery, and local cuisine.
DAY 3
Tirana to Blerina Agritourism
Leave central Tirana and travel to Blerina Agritourism in Laknas, where farming, seasonal ingredients, and food production shape daily life.
Settle into the property and spend time discovering the farm, gardens, greenhouses, animals, and produce grown on site. Depending on the day's activities, guests can take part in gardening or other farm experiences.
Later, enjoy a farm-to-table meal prepared around seasonal ingredients grown or sourced locally. The slower pace gives you time to experience rural Albania without traveling far from the capital.
DAY 4
Krujë Castle, Museums & Old Bazaar
Travel from Laknas to Krujë, one of Albania's most important historic towns and closely connected to national hero Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg.
Explore Krujë Castle and visit the Skanderbeg Museum to learn about his resistance against the Ottoman Empire. Continue to the Ethnographic Museum, housed in a traditional Ottoman-era residence, for insight into domestic life, craftsmanship, architecture, and local customs.
Before returning to Blerina, spend time in Krujë's cobbled Old Bazaar, where shops sell textiles, handicrafts, antiques, and locally made products.
DAY 5
Laknas to Durrës via San Pietro
Leave Blerina Agritourism and travel toward Albania's Adriatic coast.
Stop in the San Pietro area of Gjiri i Lalëzit for time by the sea. Spend part of the day enjoying the beach and coastal surroundings before continuing to your selected hotel in the Durrës region.
After check-in, the remainder of the afternoon is at leisure. Depending on your hotel location, relax by the beach or pool, explore the waterfront, or simply enjoy a slower afternoon by the Adriatic.
DAY 6
Mrizi i Zanave & Lezhë Countryside
Travel north into the countryside of Lezhë for a day centered on Albanian food, agriculture, and local production.
Visit Mrizi i Zanave in Fishtë, one of Albania's best-known agritourism experiences. The kitchen works closely with farmers and producers from the surrounding area, using regional ingredients and traditional techniques in a contemporary setting. Explore the property and learn how local produce moves from nearby farms to the table before sitting down to a farm-to-table meal.
Continue through the surrounding Lezhë countryside for a closer look at rural northern Albania before returning to Durrës in the afternoon.
DAY 7
Departure
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before departing Durrës for Tirana International Airport. Your private transfer will be arranged according to your flight time.
