Athens, Greece, July 4th, 2019
- Travelive, a luxury destination management company with offices in Athens, Greece and Boca Raton, Florida, organized more than a dozen private boat transfers today for its clients that were affected by the 24-hour national ferry strike.“As travel specialists, we use our knowledge to design unique itineraries and making sure all our clients arrive at their desired destinations without any interruptions or detours so when we heard of the 24-hour strike, we took it upon ourselves to organize other means of transport so no one would have to change their plans or miss out on their destination of choice. We are glad Chantal Stevenson of L’O Yachting immediately made the boats available and helped our Operations team turn this ambitious plan into reality,” said Petros Halvantzis, COO of Travelive.
Charters were organized for transfers to Mykonos, Santorini, Paros, and Naxos and judging by the reactions received from clients and partner travel agencies, the transfers were a complete success given that all passengers arrived safely and on time to their final destinations, and also had the opportunity to explore the beauties of the Greek archipelagos during their private boat ride.
