Regional Director, South East Asia

The Regional Director will be responsible for Travelive's business development in South East Asia. Countries Included: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma), Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste (East Timor), and Vietnam

The applicant needs to understand the local area, language, and market. The candidate needs to be a strategist, a confident ambitious person, and dependable for our team. As a brand ambassador and regional executive, the nominee must thoroughly communicate the region's needs, priorities, KPIs, and reasons behind the applied strategy, so that they can successfully establish the region's growth, to brief the teams working on the company's expansion plan.

Responsibilities include:

Contracting:

Establish and implement the purchasing strategy in South East Asia
Negotiate with suppliers for the best rates and terms
Update and send tariffs frequently for our database and sales team

Production:

Research and develop new products in South East Asia
Inspect on the spot and report
Train sales, marketing, operations, and guides about new and existing products
Continuous monitoring of all product and supplier quality

Sales:

Create unique tailor-made travel itineraries in South East Asia
Ensure inquiries are dealt with in a precise and timely manner ascertaining all requirements
Convert enquiries and meet sales targets
Deliver excellent customer service
Offer travel solutions based on client requirements and tailor itineraries to meet specific requests
Communicate with clients and agency partners in a professional manner, both verbally and in writing
Maintain organized communication, quotations, and reports
Staying current with the travel industry and destination trends, and relevant new developments

Agency Relationships:

Building and maintaining relationships with travel agency partners in designated markets
Maintaining communication and locating opportunities for partnerships with consortia (Virtuoso, Signature, Ensemble & more) and luxury agency partners worldwide
Maintaining and enhancing Travelive profile on consortia and partner presentations online and offline
Drafting creative proposals and presentations, and communicate them effectively with current and prospective clients
Liaising with Marketing/PR, Design and IT team on creation of promotional materials
Maintaining budgets and travel schedules
Meeting quarterly and annual sales targets
Financial reporting to internal and external clients or partners in coordination with accounting team
Lead familiarization trips and events in destination
Requires international travel for sales calls and to represent Travelive at trade shows, conventions, or other local events

Management:

Consulting duties including the training and support of our Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Contracting teams
Monthly report to Senior Management
Establish detailed and updated Competitors' screenings
Ensure market analysis and follow up
