Group Travel Manager

We are looking to expand our team in our Voula office in Athens, Greece and are seeking a Group Travel Manager.

Responsibilities include:

Project Management:

Identify client needs, budget, and goals for group travel programs
Design program details to meet the needs of organizers and participants
Outline criteria for successful delivery

Program Planning:

Design program details to meet the needs of organizers and participants
Provide strategic direction to develop group travel itinerary
Identify and contract preferred suppliers required to deliver the event
Negotiate upgrades and amenities for exceptional service delivery

Logistics:

Manage participant and rooming lists
Obtain necessary information required for successful delivery: client details, arrivals, departures etc.

Financial and Contract Management:

Manage contract terms, payment deadlines, and ensure conditions are respected
Coordinate with Accounting Manager to invoice and track payments from organizers and/or participants and to ensure timely payments for deliverable services.
Seeking out new opportunities for group and incentive travel clients

Applicants should have the following skills and qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
5+ years managing incoming group travel programs
Exceptional listening, written and verbal communication skills in English is required
Ability to communicate in additional languages (Greek, Spanish, Portuguese and/or Italian) will be considered a plus
Strong understanding of group pricing model packages
Impeccable attention to detail is required
Must be team oriented, extremely motivated, and able to work independently
High level of project management and guidance in handling problem resolutions
Proven ability to prioritize effectively while managing multiple projects and deadlines
Incite enthusiasm and influence, motivate, and persuade others to achieve desired outcomes.
