Assistant Content Editor

We are looking to expand our team in our Voula office in Athens, Greece, and are seeking an Assistant Content Editor.

Responsibilities include:

Proofread and edit spelling, grammar, and syntax.
Ensure that content meets the company or client's needs and follows our in-house style guide.
Organize, modify, and update existing content.
Verify content and information.
Collaborate with co-workers and come up with fresh, creative content ideas, keeping our audience in mind.
Manage a busy workload according to deadlines.
Analyze data and analytics and seek to increase reader engagement and retention.
Stay up to date with the latest news on how to write content relevant to the company and develop innovative concepts for content production.

BSc in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
2+ years of experience as a Content Creator, Content Writer, or a similar position in the Marketing department will be preferred.
A portfolio of published content will be an advantage.
Strong understanding of search engine optimization guidelines.
Experience working with content management systems such as WordPress, Joomla, Wix, etc.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required.
Good time management skills.
Ability to pay attention to details.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong work ethic.
