ITINERARY DETAILS

DAY 1

Split

Welcome to Split, the city that grew out of an Emperor’s palace more than 17 centuries ago to become one of the most vibrant cities in the Mediterranean. Your private driver will pick you up from Resnik International Airport and take you to your luxury hotel in the city. Spend your afternoon relaxing at the hotel or opt for a leisurely walk down to the old town and the seafront promenade (Riva) to explore the lively cafes and restaurants with the Diocletian’s Palace as your backdrop. Ask your travel advisor for their favorite spots in the city.

DAY 2

Split History and Food Tour

Embark on a 3-hour morning or evening walking tour with an expert local guide who is a history buff and foodie. This tour includes generous food stops so you can taste the most delicious local specialties while you walk through the 1700-year-old imperial city, getting to know the Diocletian’s Palace and the surrounding medieval highlights. You will start your food adventure on the very vibrant Greenmarket (only during the morning tour) - the belly of Split - with traditional finger food from the Croatian hinterland - local cheese and prosciutto, peka bread, and soparnik - a local delicacy protected by the geographical origin on the territory of EU. Next stop - seafood specialties in a great restaurant right next to the fish market. You will also taste two types of homemade pasta “makaruni” with a glass of wine (red or white). The tour concludes with a visit to the oldest pastry shop in Split, where you will taste traditional sweets (bobici, mandulat) and homemade gelato.

DAY 3

Brac

Welcome to Brac, Croatia’s third-largest island, famous for its marble and Golden Horn beach. With sunny hills, lush pine forests, pristine beaches, olive groves for miles, and traditional towns and villages, it is one of the most authentic islands in Croatia. Spend your first day exploring the town and ask your Travelive specialist for dining recommendations.

DAY 4

Brac Hiking Tour

While on Brač, you will have the opportunity to hike mount Vidova Gora, the highest point on any island in the Adriatic. Your driver will meet you at the hotel and take you to the starting point of the hike where you will be joined by your guide. This moderate hike will take you through black pine woods, untouched nature, and goat grazing lands. Once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with one of the most memorable views in Croatia with Solta, Hvar, Pakleni islands, and the famous Golden Horn beach right in front of you.
If you are looking for a more relaxed way to spend the day, opt for a food and wine tour, or spend the day exploring Bol and its famous Golden Horn beach

DAY 5

Hvar

After a short hydrofoil ride (or a private boat transfer) you will arrive on island Hvar, one of Croatia’s most popular destinations. Depending on your selection of the hotel, you will either stay in Hvar town or a driver will be waiting close to the port to take you to your chosen resort outside of Hvar town. Spend the day relaxing, exploring the surroundings, and checking out Hvar town’s well-known nightlife.

DAY 6

Sights and Tastes of Hvar

On the way to your olive grove picnic, you will drive along the old road, often called the lavender road, which is stretching through the villages of Brusje, Velo Grablje, and Selca, for here you can find what remains of Hvar’s proud lavender tradition. The next stop is Dol, a village on the edge of the UNESCO zone, to learn more (and sample!) some of the finest goat cheese in Dalmatia, from a small herd of goats and a distinguished producer. You will try the goat cheese in various samples and styles including crepes (pancakes) made with young goat cheese, and goat cheese marinated in aromatic herbs and macerated olive oil. You will then continue to a hidden olive grove near the village of Vrisnik where you will enjoy a tasteful picnic lunch or dinner. Your meal will be prepared following age-old island traditions and served by the island’s best olive oil producer and his wife.

DAY 7

Day at Leisure

Spend your day enjoying one of many beaches and beach clubs on the island of Hvar or opt for a full-day boat tour to visit Pakleni Islands as well as the Blue and Green Cave.

DAY 8

Korcula

After breakfast, you will say goodbye to Hvar and head to another Croatian island gem – Korcula. After hotel check-in, step outside and explore the colorful streets, and soak in the island's culture, history, and charm.

DAY 9

Korcula Island Tour

Discover the secrets, stories, and myths of this charming island town accompanied by an English-speaking guide. Visit the museums, and historic sites including the Bishop’s Treasury and St. Mark’s Cathedral, wander through the picturesque squares and cobbled streets and find out more about the great world-explorer Marco Polo who was supposedly born in Korcula.

DAY 10

Dubrovnik

Welcome to Dubrovnik, the enchanting walled city that has found its way on everyone’s travel bucket list. Your private driver will pick you up from the Dubrovnik Port and take you to your luxury hotel in the city. Enjoy your afternoon and evening exploring the vibrant food scene and nightlife of Dubrovnik. Ask your Travelive specialist for recommendations of their favorite restaurants, cafes, and entertainment.

DAY 11

Dubrovnik Walking and Panoramic Tour

Explore Dubrovnik from a different perspective and discover not only the historic sights and architecture but also the most memorable panoramas around the city. Your tour starts with panoramic sightseeing; from the New Bridge of Dr. Franjo Tudjman to Srdj hill and an astonishing view of the whole city of Dubrovnik, its walls, and the sea around together with the Elaphite Islands. Your driver will then take you back to Dubrovnik where you will meet your guide and enter through the Pile or Ploce Gate. Along the way, you will see St. Savior’s, a grandiose Franciscan and Dominican church, the crown jewels of Dubrovnik, Knezev Dvor, the Rector’s Palace Old port, squares, monuments, and fountains.

DAY 12

Tour of Kotor Bay in Montenegro

Your private English-speaking driver will pick you up at the hotel in Dubrovnik and start heading towards Zupa Dubrovacka and the Konavle valley up to the border with Montenegro stopping first in Perast. The town of Perast is famous for its beautiful islet called "Gospa od Skrpjela" (Our Lady of Stone) and you will stop to explore the town and bask in the glorious view. The panoramic ride to Kotor is giving you a chance to experience Montenegro’s three different landscapes - bay, mountain, and sea. There are very few places that compare to the natural beauty of the Bay of Kotor, which is a fiord, often compared to the ones in Norway. The city itself is surrounded by a very preserved medieval wall. You'll have free time to explore Kotor where you will be able to visit the city's historical museum, or just enjoy walking the rambling narrow streets and alleys or interacting with the locals in one of many cafes along the boardwalk.

DAY 13

Departure Day

Your private driver will meet you at the hotel lobby to transfer you from the hotel to the Dubrovnik Airport for your flight back home.
